FENSA is the Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme set up by the Glass
& Glazing Federation (GGF), with Government approval, in response
to the new Building Regulations for England and Wales.

The National Federation Of Glaziers was established in 1991 with
the aim of seeking individuals/organisations who are prepared to
commit themselves to Best Business Practice and Undertake to further
the following Objectives;
- To give prospective Customers proper information regarding glass
and glass-related products, to the best of our ability.
- To act honestly and respectably at all times in our dealings
with the consumer.
- To be committed to provide good service and good value, and
to encourage and maintain high technical standards in all aspects
of the business.
The Federation offers advice on all aspects of glazing and glass,
including Codes of Practise, Installations, etc., to the general public.
Additionally, the Federation will advise members of the public in
the event of a dispute with their contractor and is also able to offer
a formal Arbitration Service. The Federation applies a Vetting & Monitoring
Procedure to Members which includes contacting Members' Customers
to ensure that they have received Satisfactory Service. National Federation

Our Chief Surveyor, Mr G Turpin, has been Awarded the National Certificate
of Competence NVQ for Installing Replacement Windows & Doors Level
II, having successfully attained the prescribed competences in the
following NCVQ/GTL/GGF approved units:
- Check and Record Replacement Installation Information
- Prepare Equipment, Materials and Site for Installation
- Prepare Apertures for Installation of Replacement Windows
and Doors
- Install Replacement Window & Door Units
- Finish Installation Procedures
- Maintain Health and Safety in the Working Environment

of Controlled Waste. We dispose of all waste products produced in
